The City of Newcastle Classical Ballet Eisteddfod Committee is pleased to advise that the Adjudicator for our 2009 Eisteddfod will be Rosalie Lane.

a. All entries must be received by Friday 27th February 2009. Entries post marked and dated on or prior to Friday 27th February 2009 will be accepted.

b. Late entries will not be accepted.

COPYRIGHT LAW:
As the University of Newcastle no longer holds the necessary copyright licences to cover the playing of music in the Griffith Duncan Theatre it is now a condition of hire of the Theatre that all individuals and groups performing at the Eisteddfod be covered by a licence held by the relevant studio.

AUSDANCE has negotiated a special combined licence with the copyright agencies called an AMCOS/ARIA Licence which covers the playing of music for the purpose of teaching dance in studios as well as for performances in concerts and in eisteddfods.

Both of our entry forms have a place where the studio licence number should be recorded and we will have no other alternative but to reject entries which do not include a current licence number.

PROOF OF AGE:
All new contestants MUST submit a photocopy of his/her birth certificate with the entry form. If a birth certificate is unavailable, a statutory declaration or photocopy of the relevant page of a passport will be accepted. Birth dates of eisteddfod contestants, years 2000 to 2008 inclusive, are registered on the eisteddfod database and no confirmation for these entrants will be required.

AGE AT ENTRY:
Age is determined as at 31st December 2009.
